Pashma is committed to artisanal excellence. The excellence wherever possible we deploy manual methods in preference to modern computerised machinery designed for mass production. We produce very small members of each of our products using primitive artisan skill to keep intact the artisanal character in everything we create. Pashma products carry the artisanal signature of excellence and quality.

Pashma is very authentic. It is inspired by textile art forms of Indian subcontinent where cashmere fibre was discovered 5 centuries ago. Cashmere still serves as a tradition. Pashma products are crafted in its own cashmere mill where fibres are spun into a yarn and woven into fabrics and knitted into knitwear. The cashmere mill is the only of its kind on the planet and no product or process is outsourced. The fibres are sourced directly from the origin and crafted into finished products at the mill. All transformation of the fibres happens in house. Pashma products are crafted with proprietary processes by skilled craftsmen who have specialised skills inherited through generations. We at Pashma guarantee our claims of authenticity in composition and quality.

Ancestral Legacy

Our artisans and herders carry on the legacy of their craft passed on by their ancestors. However, they can only continue to do so only when they are paid a fair contribution for their vocation. For us building an equitable and sustainable value chain is not only essential because it is important to our customers—it is central to the continuity of our business!

WE NOT ONLY CONTROL WHAT OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE OF BUT ALSO HOW THEY ARE MADE.
